-The second Saturday of each month at 2pm from September through June the library is visited by a well known author who provides reading of their work and a discussion period. Click here for the list of scheduled authors.

- This book group meets at the library the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. to share thoughts about the book read that month. New members are welcome. Click here for a list of the books to be read this year.

-The first Thursday of each month the Friends of Haystack Rock present guest lecturers and other programs at the library starting at 7 pm. This series of free community lectures are co-sponsored by Friends of Haystack Rock and the Library and are provided from November through April. Click here to see the programs.

-Our well known sale lasts several days and includes donated books that we receive during the year. The Library is filled with thousands of books that includes fiction, mysteries, non-fiction, children's books, rare and collectable books. There is something for everyone. -Every year on the last Saturday in September, the library hosts an annual festival, one of our fund raising activities. Sales include holiday items, crafts, baked goodies, children's items and special treasures. Click on News to find out more as September approaches.

-Each December we invite the community and visitors to our beautifully decorated library. Guests come to visit and sample the home baked cookies, tea and cider. This is our thank you to all who have helped us during the year. It is always the same afternoon as the annual Cannon Beach Lamp lighting. Click on News to find out more as December approaches.
